Paisley's passion for music began at age 8, when his grandfather gave him his first guitar. By the age of 12, the young musician was singing in church and at civic meetings and playing in his first band, for which he wrote his own material..

Paisley is an American country music singer-songwriter and musician. Starting with his 1999 debut album, Who Needs Pictures, he has released 10 studio albums and a Christmas compilation on the Arista Nashville label, with all of his albums certified Gold or higher by the RIAA. He has scored 32 Top 10 singles on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songschart, 18 of which have reached #1. He holds the record for most consecutive singles, ten, reaching the top spot on that chart.

Paisley has sold over 12 million albums and won three Grammy Awards, 14 Academy of Country Music Awards, 14 Country Music Association Awards, and two American Music Awards. He has earned country music's crowning achievement, becoming a member of the Grand Ole Opry .

For that label, he has released three studio albums — his self titled debut in 2009, Outlaws Like Me in 2011, and Off the Beaten Path in 2013. He has also charted eleven times on the Hot Country Songs charts, including the number one singles "Small Town USA", "If Heaven Wasn't So Far Away", "Til My Last Day", and "Lettin' the Night Roll", and the Top 10 hits "Backwoods" and "Point at You".

Mickey Guyton
