Josh Gracin grew up in Westland, Mich. After high school, he enlisted in the Marines and a few years later got married. About two years into his four-year term of the Marines, he saw the first American Idol show. Though he hadn't sung in a couple of years, he auditioned and was chosen as a finalist in the second year of the series, ultimately placing fourth. Gracin's transition from reality show contestant to recording star began when he sang Rascal Flatts' "I'm Movin' On" on one episode. Jay DeMarcus, of Rascal Flatts, saw the performance and was impressed with Gracin's talent. He put him in touch with Marty Williams, who had co-produced both the band's breakthrough album and its successful follow-up. That set in motion a series of events that led to a record deal with Lyric Street.
Gracin's self-titled debut album, featuring the first single "I Want to Live," was released in 2004. Its second single, "Nothin' to Lose," reached No. 1 at country radio.
Residing in Manchester, New Hampshire, Josh Logan began his music career at the very young age of 14. He then added the guitar to his talents. By 15 Josh was taking the stage at many packed venues as a front man of the popular band "Gunshy". After a 4 year run, "Gunshy" disbanded. Since then Josh has mastered his musical talents and made quite an impressive name for himself. Playing nightly at local venues for 2 years as a solo artist, Josh developed his skills as a musician. In 2003 Josh hired musicians to back him at shows as well in the studio, forming the 3 piece band known as Josh Logan & Nobody’s Business. Named the hardest working musician in Manchester in 2003 and awarded one of the top 100 semi finalist in the Disc Makers "Independent Northeast Songwriting Competition". The 3 piece band continues to actively perform throughout the New England area. Sharing the stage with national recording artists like Dime-Bag ,"Tantric", "Shinedown" and most recently "Toby Lightman." In 2004 Josh released his self-titled full length CD. The first single "Painful Breath" has been requested and played on several stations. Josh has also won multiple awards for his songs "Nobody Feels" and "Know Future". In summer of 2005, Josh embarked on a 3 month tour with the number one college act "Recycled Percussion" on their "Rock Your Junk" tour. Josh played to packed venues of 1000's every night and collected many new fans along the way and by the end of the tour, was booking his own solo acoustic college shows. Josh finally got a shot at the big time in late July of 2006, when he was chosen to be a contestant on the TV show "Rockstar: Supernova". This once in a lifetime experience put Josh in front of 10-20 million viewers two times a week.
